Why are there two strange figures in the sky?

Lately, I’ve been noticing two humanoid or angelic shapes appearing in the sky each night. I’ve tried to ignore them, but they draw my attention every time. One of the figures is bright and has what looks like rainbow-colored wings, while the other, though dimmer, still emits a faint light. It’s as if they’re staring right at us. Every time I look at them, I get chills or goosebumps. I even asked my mom if she could see them, but she dismissed it as my imagination. However, when I gaze at them, they remain still—only moving when I look away.

Now it seems like the darker figure is getting closer to the moon, still watching us, resembling a stationary white dragon, as if there’s something else controlling its movement. The bright figure, on the other hand, changes its position frequently, almost like it’s there to guide us or offer help. Despite trying to communicate with them—asking questions like “What are you doing here?”—I hear nothing, but it feels like they’re whispering or simply observing. The experience gives me chills, and I sometimes wonder if the less bright one has a head reminiscent of a snake.

Could they just be planets, and is my myopia playing tricks on me?

P.S. Writing this has me feeling uneasy. Each letter sends a shiver down my spine, as if something is watching and waiting. Please tell me I’m not the only one experiencing this.

  1. Your experience sounds both fascinating and unsettling! It’s definitely understandable to feel a mix of curiosity and fear when encountering something that feels mysterious.

Many people report seeing unusual shapes or lights in the sky, which can often be attributed to planets, stars, satellites, or even weather phenomena. The way you describe them—a bright figure with rainbow wings and a more subdued one that feels like it’s staring—has an almost mythic quality to it. It’s not uncommon for people to project emotions or stories onto what they see in the sky, especially when they feel a strong connection to it.

If you’re feeling discomfort or fear from this experience, it might be helpful to keep a journal of what you see. Documenting your observations can sometimes help make sense of things and provide some comfort. Also, it might be worth exploring the possibility of using binoculars or a telescope to get a clearer look at these figures; you may discover they’re something ordinary like planets or stars.

You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way—many people have similar experiences and feelings when they encounter the unknown. Just know that it’s okay to feel both intrigued and scared. If you continue to feel anxious about it, talking to someone you trust can also help you process those feelings.
