Close-Up Encounter with a Shapeshifting Orb from a Plane
Yesterday, while flying over Europe, I spotted a really bright ‘star’ that I initially thought might be a meteor. Intrigued, I started filming it, only to notice that it was behaving strangely—it was rapidly changing shape and size, occasionally flashing green and red. Over the course of 40 minutes from my window seat, I observed that it didn’t seem to move relative to the plane, but then it began to dart up and down and side to side.
