The idea of pyramids on Mars suggests there may have been a past civilization there before something happened, prompting migration to Earth. Imagine being aboard a ship that crashes on an uninhabited island—if you manage to survive off the land, what happens over time? Just think of any movie about being stranded on an island!
I believe we built the pyramids as a sort of SOS signal in case others came looking for us, and we may have hidden our history and technology beneath them. As for why our cultures evolved into different religions and technologies over time? I’m not sure.
