Unusual Lights Observed in the Sky
Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any insights on these lights?
I was in northern California, gazing towards the west/northwest when I noticed these orbs of light. They gradually appeared, brightened, and then faded as they moved across the sky. I observed this phenomenon for about 30 minutes, and the accompanying photos were taken with exposures of 15 to 30 seconds. This isn’t the first time I’ve spotted these lights in this area, and I can confidently say they are not aircraft. (You can see a plane in the first photo, marked by a line of red lights.)

Drones: Drones equipped with LED lights can create various light patterns and may appear to hover or move in unusual ways.
Satellites: While they usually move steadily across the sky, certain satellites can reflect sunlight in ways that make them look like bright moving lights. The International Space Station, for example, can appear very bright.
Starlink Satellites: With the proliferation of satellite constellations like Starlink, you may be observing these grouped satellites moving in formation across the sky.
Weather Phenomena: Although less common, certain atmospheric conditions can create unusual light effects, such as light reflections or refractions.
UFOs: If you’re considering unexplained phenomena, some people might attribute these lights to unidentified flying objects, especially if they don’t fit any known category.
