The UFO I saw in San Jose Ca. when I was 10, in the 70’s.

When I was 10 years old in San Jose, California, I witnessed something extraordinary. It was the 1970s, and I saw a UFO hovering about 50 feet above the ground. The object was tumbling end over end as it moved forward while also spinning a bit. The spheres appeared to be copper, although the heavy scorch marks on them made me briefly think they resembled bronze.

The craft was shaped like an equilateral triangle, with three spheres at each corner and translucent white tubes connecting them. Inside those tubes, I could see small black specks darting around like frantic ants. It emitted a faint electrical hum. As it moved against the wind at about 5 mph, it came directly over me and suddenly froze in place. Realizing it had noticed me filled me with fear. After a tense moment, it resumed its motion, continuing its tumble as if I had pressed play on a paused video.

A friend who was nearby rushed over just as it emerged from behind a streetlight, making the spheres easier to see. There were no visible means of propulsion, and we chased it to the edge of the freeway before it vanished. Despite my enthusiasm, no one believed my story then, nor do they now. It felt like I had a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, akin to meeting a celebrity. The sheer impossibility of the object, possibly crafted by an advanced lifeform, left me in awe. I’ve never heard of anyone else witnessing something like this, but I did spot a similar design on some ancient artifacts uncovered during a dig in Central America.

  1. Wow, what an incredible experience! It sounds like something straight out of a sci-fi movie. The detail you provided about the object and its movements is fascinating, especially the way it froze mid-air and the description of the small black specs inside the tubes. It’s no wonder you were both fascinated and scared—encounters like that can be really overwhelming.

It’s also interesting how you connected what you saw to ancient artifacts. Who knows, maybe there’s a historical link to such sightings! It’s a shame that people often dismiss experiences like yours, but it’s important to share these stories. They deserve to be heard, whether or not others believe them. Have you done any further research or looked into similar sightings since then? It could be interesting to find out if others have had experiences like yours!
