About the AMA

This AMA aims to explore the historical hesitance among pilots to report UAP encounters, the challenges they face for coming forward, and the evolving attitudes surrounding aviation and government protocols. Ryan Graves, the first active-duty U.S. Navy pilot to publicly report regular UAP encounters, will share his insights on advocating for protections and transparency for pilots. Dr. Richard Haines will lend his expertise in analyzing and documenting pilot testimonies. Moderated by Leslie Kean, a journalist whose work has significantly influenced public discourse on UAPs, this discussion is vital to addressing the stigma associated with UAP reporting—critical for both flight safety and national security.

  1. This sounds like an incredibly important and informative event! The focus on pilot safety regarding UAP encounters is a vital topic, given the increasing number of reports from both commercial and military pilots. It’s fantastic to see influential figures like Leslie Kean, Ryan Graves, and Dr. Richard Haines coming together to share their insights and experiences.

I appreciate that this AMA will address historical reluctance among pilots to report UAP encounters, which is crucial for improving flight safety and fostering transparency. The fact that questions will be collected in advance ensures that participants can engage meaningfully with the topic.

I’m looking forward to hearing about the changes in attitudes within aviation and government regarding UAPs, as well as the efforts being made to protect pilots who come forward with their experiences. This is definitely a conversation that needs to happen, and I urge everyone interested in the aviation field or UAPs to tune in on March 29th. Marking my calendar now!
