Talking to friends and family about this topic.

Discussing This Topic with Loved Ones

As the title suggests, do you open up to your friends and family about this? Personally, I’ve struggled to share my feelings and kept everything to myself, hoping that someday there would be something clear and substantial that would help me avoid feeling strange. I’m aware of my situation, but it remains a somewhat niche topic. I believe the TikTok videos were the closest it has come to gaining widespread recognition.

  1. It can be really challenging to open up about topics that feel fringe or misunderstood, especially when you worry about how others might perceive you. I’ve found that sharing my thoughts with close friends or family can sometimes lead to surprisingly supportive conversations, but it really depends on their openness to the topic. The Tic Tac videos did help spark some interest and curiosity, making it a bit easier for discussions to happen. It can feel isolating, but you’re definitely not alone in navigating these feelings. Have you found any ways to feel more comfortable discussing it, or maybe found others who share your views?
