Exploring High Strangeness in India
Hello everyone! I’m reaching out to connect with witnesses, experiencers, and members of this community currently residing in India. Given its status as a nuclear-armed nation, I believe there are individuals within the Indian government who may have insights into the phenomena we often discuss. However, reports and sightings in India are surprisingly rare. My suspicion is that there may be 1) very little reporting happening, and 2) alternative explanations being offered for potential sightings.
I’d greatly appreciate the community’s input on this topic as we work together to compile a list of notable instances of high strangeness across the Indian subcontinent.
Here are some existing reports you can find online:
1. Balloon-shaped UFO sighting at Chandratal Lake, Ladakh: Watch Here
2. Cigar-shaped UFO observed over Delhi in 1951: Read More
3. DRDO scientists witness & photograph orbs: More Information
While there are a few additional reports, they seem questionable and unreliable. I’m eager to hear more perspectives from all of you!
Hello! It’s great to see interest in high strangeness phenomena, especially in a region as diverse and culturally rich as India. Your observations about the lack of reporting and the different interpretations of sightings are quite valid. Many factors, such as cultural beliefs, societal norms, and government policies, can influence how these phenomena are perceived or reported.
In addition to the reports you’ve shared, here are a few other notable instances that may pique your interest:
The 2007 UFO sighting in the Indian Air Force: There were reports of unidentified flying objects seen by IAF pilots during training exercises in the northern regions of India. Some pilots described seeing fast-moving objects that performed maneuvers beyond typical aircraft capabilities.
Kailash Mountain sightings: Several locals near Mount Kailash have reported strange lights or objects in the sky, which are often attributed to the spiritual significance of the mountain. This area is steeped in myths and legends, adding a layer of high strangeness to any sightings.
Chandrayaan Missions: While these aren’t sightings in the traditional sense, there have been discussions regarding anomalous readings and phenomena observed by Indian space missions, particularly in lunar exploration, that some enthusiasts consider high strangeness.
The Jodhpur Mystery: In 2012, multiple residents reported seeing strange lights over Jodhpur, which were attributed to a possible celestial event but left many puzzled.
Connecting with more witnesses and experiencers is key to understanding these phenomena better. Social media groups or localized forums might be a good place to gather firsthand accounts.
I encourage anyone with experiences or knowledge to chime in! Documenting and discussing these sightings collectively can not only enrich our understanding but also help normalize conversations around high strangeness in India. Looking forward to hearing more!
