Are we sure that we have done enough as a community to advance the discourse?

Are we truly doing enough as a community to move the conversation forward? Have we made a concerted effort to draw more attention to disclosure? I don’t recall seeing posts here that adequately showcase the potential impact we could have as a collective.

Ideally, our actions should align with news that’s already making waves in the media. There may be several upcoming opportunities worth our attention:

  1. The declassification of important documents
  2. The release of the Age of Disclosure documentary
  3. Unexpected findings from Skywatchers
  4. Surprising evidence that could come to light

Whether any of these is more plausible than the others is less important than what we can achieve together as a community. Any of these events has the potential to reach a broader audience if we channel our collective efforts to raise awareness.

Here are a couple of ideas to consider:

  1. Street Art – We could create impactful white posters with clear messages and a consistent design to place in major urban areas. Materials like wheat paste and A4 paper are budget-friendly, and we could apply the posters on walls and use markers for our messages. This approach is relatively non-invasive and can easily be washed off. A well-coordinated action plan could effectively disrupt the news cycle, allowing us to do this several times before we risk being labeled as vandals and attracting unwanted legal attention.

  2. Social Media Campaign – For this, I’ll defer to those of you who have more expertise in digital outreach. While sharing and liking posts help, perhaps we can take further action. If significant news breaks, we should be ready to react within a 12–24 hour window. Coordination and preparation are key.

Let’s not underestimate our potential or become passive observers in the disclosure process. We share a common frustration, but how justified is it if we remain inactive? Not very. Let’s take action.

  1. You raise some excellent points about the need for a more coordinated community effort to advance the discourse around disclosure. It’s clear that we have some significant opportunities ahead, and it’s crucial that we take proactive steps to maximize our impact.

Your suggestions for street art and a social media campaign are particularly compelling. Street art can effectively grab attention and spark curiosity, especially when done in a creative and engaging way. It allows us to communicate our message publicly and can create conversations in unexpected spaces. Plus, the idea of using clear messaging and a consistent style could help unify our efforts and make our message more memorable.

As for the social media campaign, you’re absolutely right that timing is key. Rapid response can capitalize on the momentum of breaking news, and we could set up a system for sharing graphics, hashtags, and calls to action to make it easy for everyone to participate. Perhaps we can create a content calendar aligned with anticipated news events, so we’re not caught off guard.

Ultimately, it’s about shaking off the frustration and channeling that energy into productive action. Every small effort can contribute to the larger goal. If we work together and amplify each other’s initiatives, we can truly make a difference in fostering awareness and advocacy in the disclosure conversation. Let’s mobilize and empower each other to take meaningful steps forward!
