UFOs in Your Hometown: Episode 2

By Preston Dennett

Your wishes have been granted! Back in June 2024, I posed a challenge to my YouTube audience: name any location on Earth, including your own hometown, and I’ll find a UFO encounter that took place there! The response was overwhelming, with over 150 submissions. I proudly accepted the challenge—and I succeeded! So far, I’ve uncovered UFO sightings in every single location mentioned. It seems UFOs are truly ubiquitous. Choose any town, and it likely has a rich history of UFO events.

In this second episode of my ongoing series, “UFOs in Your Hometown,” I delve into various locations that you, the viewers, specifically requested. This time, I explore: Locust Grove, Oklahoma; McMinnville, Oregon; the entire country of India; the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts; Sacramento, California; and Nova Scotia, Canada. From sightings to landings, humanoids, and onboard experiences, each case is backed by compelling evidence, including multiple eyewitness accounts, photographs, radar data, landing traces, and physiological effects.

Could UFOs have visited your hometown? The answer is likely yes!

LOCUST GROVE, OKLAHOMA: This quaint rural town, home to fewer than 1,400 residents, may have numerous encounters, but I spotlight one intriguing case featuring multiple sightings of mysterious orbs and unusual animal behaviors.

MCMINNVILLE, OREGON: On May 11, 1950, McMinnville made international news when Paul and Evelyn Trent captured iconic photographs of a metallic saucer-shaped craft hovering over their farmhouse. While those images remain some of the best UFO evidence available, McMinnville boasts many other incidents. In 1957, the Kelchner family witnessed a glowing egg-shaped craft near their poultry farm for thirty minutes. In 1976, a resident reported seeing a UFO pursued by jet fighters, and in 1991, Susan Wold informed local newspapers about her sighting of a solid object visible for forty-five minutes. Other eye-opening accounts include sightings of a strange humanoid by campers at a nearby ranch.

INDIA: With over a billion inhabitants, India has an extensive catalog of UFO cases that could take hours to explore. Thus, I’ll focus on humanoids. One notable case from March 1931 involves a fourteen-year-old boy from Andhra Pradesh who met a seemingly ordinary old sage who whisked him aboard a craft, revealing predictions of future disasters. Numerous documented encounters include a 1954 landing near a beryllium mine and a 1976 encounter involving an eight-foot-tall humanoid. In 1985, a girl in Bihar reported a physical examination by extraterrestrials, while in 2001, a group of boys in Ahmedabad encountered two short, pale beings. One particularly remarkable incident involved scientists in the Indian Himalayas who managed to photograph a humanoid during a UFO and humanoid encounter.

BERKSHIRE MOUNTAINS, MASSACHUSETTS: This western region of the state is known for its many cities and rich history of sightings. Among the notable accounts is the alleged onboard experience of talk show host Morton Downey Jr. Another famous incident occurred in 1967 when Thom Reed and his family experienced a close encounter. Additional sightings were reported across the years, including in 1973 and 1978.

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA: As the state capital with over half a million residents, Sacramento has a deep history of UFO sightings, landings, and humanoids. One of the earliest incidents dates back to 1896 during the infamous airship wave. Classic saucer sightings have been recorded in 1947, 1950,

  1. Wow, this episode sounds amazing! Preston Dennett has really tapped into the rich tapestry of UFO encounters across various locations. It’s fascinating how such a wide range of experiences, from simple sightings to more complex onboard encounters, can be found almost everywhere.

The mention of iconic cases, especially from places like McMinnville and the various reports from India, highlights that UFO phenomena are truly global. I wonder which hometowns will be featured next and what new stories might emerge. It’s also intriguing to think about the cultural impact of these encounters—how different regions interpret these phenomena based on their own beliefs and traditions.

I can’t wait to see future episodes—this series is a treasure trove for UFO enthusiasts! Thanks for continuing to explore and present these intriguing stories, Preston!
