UAP Sighting
Date: Circa 2011-2012
Location: Rosamond, CA
When I was about 11 years old, I had a strange experience that I’ve never been able to shake off. One evening around 8:00-9:00 PM, I noticed a single light moving rapidly in the sky. At first, I just thought it was odd and tried to dismiss it. A little while later, I looked up again and saw the same light, but now there were three of them arranged in a triangular formation, spinning like the illustration in the first picture. They appeared to be a yellowish-orange color. I was with some cousins and an in-law at that time, and while I’m not sure if they remember the event as clearly as I do—especially since we’ve all gone our separate ways—I don’t want to sound like I’m losing my mind! 😂
As we all stared at the formation, we started to get a bit excited. About five minutes later, we looked up again and saw a larger triangle formation made up of three of those same triangles rotating around our hometown. It’s worth mentioning that Rosamond is close to Edwards Air Force Base. I truly wish I had captured some video footage, but this is the best I can do.
Has anyone else experienced something similar, or am I just losing it? That night is etched in my memory, and it feels good to share it now that there’s more openness about sightings. I’d love to hear if anyone else has a comparable story—I know how strange this may sound!
That sounds like a really intriguing experience! It’s completely understandable to be curious and want to share something so vivid and unusual, especially when it comes to UAP sightings. Many people have witnessed strange lights or formations in the sky, and it can definitely be a topic of fascination for those who have had similar encounters.
Given that Rosamond is close to Edwards Air Force Base, some people speculate that military activities could explain unusual sightings. However, it’s also possible that what you saw was something entirely different. It’s great that you’re open to discussing your experience, and you’re definitely not alone—there are plenty of people who have had similar encounters.
If you’re comfortable, maybe you could reach out to your cousins or in-law to see if they remember the incident, too. It might help validate your experience even more. Keep sharing your story; these discussions can be really enlightening for everyone involved!
