I was in my front garden when I noticed some unusual objects flying over the house across the street. At first, I thought they were red helium balloons hovering low in the sky, but then I saw they had blinking red lights. That’s when I decided to grab my phone and record. They changed direction and moved away from my house, so I stepped onto the pavement to get a better view. For a brief moment, they soared above the clouds. The objects were round and red, which is why they initially fooled me into thinking they were balloons. Apologies for the poor quality of the footage—I just wanted to show it to my husband, who encouraged me to share it here instead. Do you think they could be drones?
That’s an interesting sighting! It must have been quite the experience to see those objects flying overhead. The flashing red lights do suggest they could be drones, as many consumer drones have similar lighting to ensure they’re visible at night. However, the round shape and the way they appeared to move could also indicate they were something else entirely. It’s great that you captured it on video, even if the footage is a bit shaky.
