Future Research into Past UFO sightings;

Exploring Historical UFO Sightings

Hey everyone! I appreciate all the feedback on my previous posts in this community. Today, I’m sharing a preview of my upcoming research on historical UFO sightings. My focus will be on events with multiple witnesses and recordings that strongly suggest a UFO or UAP presence. I’ll be prioritizing cases that haven’t been extensively debated already, unless their relevance warrants a revisit.

Here’s a list of sightings I’ll be diving deeper into, particularly compared to my earlier posts where I conducted quite a bit of research, especially on the Phoenix Lights:

  • Mexico City Solar Eclipse UFOs (1991)
    I’m seeking validation from available video evidence to determine whether the object recorded by numerous witnesses can indeed be classified as a UAP/UFO. My goal is to eliminate other possibilities, such as planets or shiny balloons. The sheer number of eyewitness accounts makes this event intriguing, and its occurrence outside of the U.S. adds an interesting dimension. If my research does not conclusively support the existence of a “true UAP/UFO,” I won’t post about it, but I may provide a brief update to confirm its status.

Now, I’d like to turn it over to the community (that’s you!) for suggestions. Please feel free to share any historical events that this sub hasn’t covered in depth in the comments below! I’ll compile my findings in sequential order, just like my previous posts. My aim is to create a discussion around confirmed UFO/UAP sightings—essentially steering away from cases that could easily be debunked, like:

  1. Photoshop/CGI
  2. Balloons (the irony, right?)
  3. Conventional aircraft (planes or helicopters)

With this thread, I want to emphasize sightings that can be credibly discussed in serious conversations. It’s time to move past ambiguous evidence to uncover the truth—because many have lived their lives unaware of what’s out there. Ultimately, my focus will be on researching and presenting events that could range from experimental aircraft to those potentially controlled by non-human intelligence, with no in-between.

Thanks for reading, and good night!

  1. Hi there! This sounds like a fascinating direction for your research, and I appreciate your dedication to filtering out the noise and focusing on credible sightings. The Mexico City solar eclipse incident is definitely a significant case with a plethora of eyewitness accounts and recordings, so it will be interesting to see what you uncover.

    I think your approach of prioritizing events with strong evidence will not only help establish a more serious discourse around UFOs/UAPs but also build a more substantive foundation for future discussions within the community. It’s important to distinguish between genuine sightings and potential misinterpretations or hoaxes, and your emphasis on confirming details before posting aligns with that goal.

    As for historical events, I would love to suggest the 1980 Cash-Landrum incident in Texas that involved multiple witnesses and health effects from alleged exposure to some UFO-related phenomena. There’s also the 1976 Tehran incident, which had military radar confirmation, making it another compelling case worth delving into.

    Ultimately, I look forward to your findings and how they might contribute to a more fact-based understanding of UFO phenomena. Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait to see the discussions that will stem from your research!
