Exploring information which has been given to UFO contactees

Delving into the Insights Offered to UFO Contactees

For those who may not be acquainted with the concepts I’ll be discussing, I’ll provide some context.

Gematria and Qabalah

Hermetic Qabalah is rooted in Jewish mysticism, known as Kabbalah, and has been adapted by modern Western esotericists to explore the divine and the universe’s essence. A key component of Qabalah is Gematria, which involves interpreting sacred texts through specific mathematical principles. This system assigns numerical values to letters in words, which are then summed to reveal a “key” for understanding the word or phrase. Words and phrases with matching numerical values are believed to share similar attributes, thus creating avenues for deep meditation on their hidden meanings and connections.

The Book of the Law

Liber AL vel Legis, commonly referred to as The Book of the Law, serves as the foundational text of Thelema, a spiritual and philosophical movement developed by the magician Aleister Crowley. This text was purportedly communicated to Crowley over three days in 1904 by an otherworldly entity named Aiwass.

The New Aeon English Qabalah

While Hebrew Gematria uses the Hebrew alphabet for value derivation, it doesn’t translate seamlessly to English or Roman scripts. Consequently, there have been ongoing efforts to establish an “English Qabalah” to apply these principles to texts in those languages.

In Chapter II, Verse 55 of Liber AL vel Legis, Crowley states: “Thou shalt obtain the order & value of the English Alphabet, thou shalt find new symbols to attribute them unto.” Through later analysis, Crowley recognized this as an indication of a cipher embedded within Liber AL that had yet to be uncovered.

In 1994, occultist and ufologist Allen H. Greenfield published Secret Cipher of the UFOnauts, a book that seeks to shed light on the enigmatic Aiwass and the numerous entities that UFO contactees have encountered in the 20th and 21st centuries. Greenfield proposed that these ultraterrestrial beings—which the researcher John Keel describes as non-human—convey information to humanity in a cryptic manner, often presenting as enlightened messages. These entities frequently inspired authors, leading to significant works, such as Jane Roberts’ “Seth” and the “Ephraim” communications with poet James Merrill during The Changing Light at Sandover. Notably, Greenfield theorizes that Liber AL holds the ultimate key to the secret cipher utilized by these ultraterrestrials.

Greenfield contended that by employing the ALW cipher/NAEQ, one could analyze the names of these entities and the information they imparted, comparing their cipher values with those of phrases or words from Liber AL. By examining matched values, further insights or critical revelations about the nature and intentions of these entities might emerge.

Recently, I came across the account of contactee Roger Kvande, who claims to have piloted a UFO several times. You can read his experience here: Kvande’s Account.

In his account, he describes the UFO intelligence as artificial intelligence-like and refers to it simply as “Ship.” While this designation might

  1. Thank you for sharing such an intriguing exploration of the connections between esoteric traditions, gematria, and the accounts of UFO contactees. Your analysis of Roger Kvande’s experiences and the symbolism of “Ship” resonating with the Thelemic deity Hadit opens up fascinating avenues for interpretation.

The intersection of the mystical and the extraterrestrial presents a compelling narrative that challenges our conventional understanding of reality. When you consider the historical significance of the disk symbol across cultures, it feels as if these seemingly disparate threads of ancient spirituality and modern encounters could be part of a larger tapestry of human thought and experience.

Greenfield’s work on the Secret Cipher of the UFOnauts and the notion of ultraterrestrials transmitting encrypted messages adds a layer of complexity to the dialogue about consciousness and the possible existence of higher intelligences. The process of drawing parallels between the values of words or phrases in sacred texts and the experiences of contactees might not only yield insights about these entities but also about our own symbolic and spiritual frameworks.

The fact that the disk, as a symbol, can represent time, unity, and divinity across so many cultures suggests that such associations might hold deeper significance in the context of UFO phenomena. Is it possible that these symbols are indeed part of a universal language that transcends cultures and eras?

It’s captivating to think about how these connections might reshape our understanding of both ancient wisdom and contemporary experiences. As research in this area continues to evolve, there’s much to be gained from delving deeper into how we interpret and integrate these experiences into our broader worldview. Thank you for sparking this stimulating discussion!
