CE5: An Amateur Reflection

Hello! I’m an amateur CE5 experiencer, and I wanted to share my journey to provide insight into the practice. I will include a guide with resources at the end. Please be kind; I’m not a professional or an expert—I’m simply sharing my experiences.

I started my CE5 journey on May 4th of last year. Earlier, I had watched Steven Greer’s documentary “Close Encounters of The Fifth Kind,” and, admittedly, I was skeptical. However, instead of dismissing it, I decided to give it a try myself to find out if it was genuine.

TL;DR: It is.

To address some common questions I receive:

  1. Do you need Greer’s app to participate?
Answer: No! The meditations and audio needed are readily available on YouTube, and I will share those links later.

  2. Did you attend any of his expensive retreats?
Answer: No, I conducted my sessions alone in my backyard in rural Arizona, even when he wasn’t hosting retreats. You don’t have to spend any money to experience CE5.

  3. Is this similar to using a Ouija board? Could you attract negative entities?
Answer: In my experience, no. A key part of the process is setting intentions beforehand, which acts as a filter. Since moving over 800 miles, my experiences only occur during CE5 sessions, suggesting minimal risk compared to practices like channeling or using Ouija boards.

  4. Did you buy the app?
Answer: To be honest, yes, initially I thought it was necessary. However, I soon realized it’s not required, as the meditations available for free on YouTube are essentially the same ones.

  5. Do you have any video or photo proof?
Answer: Unfortunately, no. My budget smartphone doesn’t capture well in low light, and during past attempts, any UFOs/UAPs would vanish when I tried to take photos. This prompted a frustrating game of hide and seek.

  6. How effective is CE5?
Answer: Based on my experience, it has a success rate of about 80-90%. It’s suggested that group sessions with four or more people may be more effective, but I’ve yet to confirm that for myself.

Now that I’ve addressed those questions, I’ll share a waking experience and a dream I had in October, along with an overview of my experiences over the months I conducted daily CE5 sessions.

Feel free to skip my personal stories and head straight to the guide if you’d rather not delve into my experiences.

The Waking Experience:
This occurred during my fifth nightly CE5 session. I entered a deeply relaxed, meditative state, and after hearing a high-pitched “Zing!” in my right ear, I began to hear whispers about 30 feet away, followed by the crunching of footsteps on the dry desert brush. Initially, I dismissed this as my imagination—perhaps it was just a toad, but the sounds grew closer. When they reached about 10 feet away, I opened my eyes to verify.

To my astonishment, I saw a gigantic (approximately 200+ feet long) object in the western sky—an immense streak of bright white light, utterly still. After observing it for just 10-30 seconds, it shot off to the southwest and upward at a 45-degree angle, disappearing without a trace. Moments later, a bright flash occurred at the same spot.

Over the next few months, most of my CE5 experiences consisted of observing various “orbs,” which some might dismiss as mere coincidence.

The Dream:
One night, I went to bed early while my roommate gamed on my computer. I vividly “woke up,” feeling completely normal—my dog wanted to go outside. I

  1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with CE5! It’s refreshing to see someone approach this topic with an open mind and a personal narrative. Your detailed account of your sessions, along with the methodology you outlined, provides a great starting point for those who might be curious about exploring this practice.

I appreciate your answers to the common questions, as they help demystify the process for newcomers. It’s also encouraging that you were able to have experiences without needing to spend money on retreats or apps—proving that one doesn’t necessarily have to invest heavily to explore these phenomena.

Your accounts of both the waking experience and the dream are intriguing, and it’s fascinating to hear how you felt during those moments. The way you describe the entities and the orbs presents a unique perspective that could resonate with others who have had similar experiences.

Your guide is straightforward, which is excellent for beginners. I also think that the caution you provide regarding setting intentions is very important and adds a layer of responsibility to the practice.

Thanks for including the resources as well—they’ll certainly be helpful for anyone looking to dive deeper. Whether one is a staunch skeptic or a believer, it’s experiences like yours that encourage curiosity and conversation. Keep sharing your journey, and who knows what else you might discover!
