Canadas “UFO landing pad”

Canada’s Unique “UFO Landing Pad”

As a proud Canadian, visiting the UFO landing pad in St. Paul has long been on my road trip wish list. I wonder how many of you have either seen it or are interested in checking it out, regardless of where you’re from!

And just to clarify, I don’t actually believe UFOs or UAPs are landing there—that’s just a fun idea!

This iconic landmark was inaugurated by Paul Hellyer as part of a Centennial project designed to promote goodwill between humanity and any potential extraterrestrial civilizations. Hellyer, who served as a senior cabinet minister, was involved during two of Canada’s most famous UFO sightings: the Falcon Lake incident in Manitoba and the Shag Harbour incident in Nova Scotia, both of which occurred in 1967—the same year he unveiled the landing pad. ✌️🇨🇦💜

Interestingly, Hellyer claimed to have spotted a UFO himself, and I totally believe him!

It’s intriguing how it represents not just a fun and quirky attraction but also a symbol of hope for connection with the unknown. I love that it was initiated by Paul Hellyer, especially considering his involvement in those notable UFO sightings.
