I’m sharing this for a few important reasons:
- There’s a lot of misinformation on this sub, which leads to my second point.
- This event was immediately followed by the military dropping flares, right after numerous witnesses reported seeing lights in the sky or unidentified flying objects.
- At the time, the Arizona Governor and other officials only acknowledged the flares, effectively dismissing the original sighting and undermining its significance. Interestingly, years later, Governor Fife Symington publicly stated that what people saw was indeed a UFO.
- This suggests that there may have been a cover-up, possibly to hide advanced technology or something else entirely unknown to the public.
This is an interesting perspective on the Phoenix Lights event! The eyewitness accounts and the fact that the military dropped flares afterward definitely add layers to the story. It’s puzzling how officials downplayed the original sightings, only to later have the governor acknowledge the possibility of UFOs.
