ET “Party Monsters”: Extended Interactive Encounter in the Queen Valley
This comprehensive report is derived from my extensive CE-5 field notes documenting an encounter in Joshua Tree on November 11, 1993. A colleague from our medical center and I engaged with two UFOs for more than an hour and a half. An account of this experience was included in the chapter I contributed to the 2012 anthology “Paths to Contact: True Stories from the Contact Underground,” edited by Jeff Becker. Using my notes, I reconstructed my conversations with my colleague “Misha” to bring a sense of immediacy to the narrative. Please note that this account is not a work of fiction.
I worked alongside “Misha” from 1993 to 1997. Drawing from my experiences with him and Dr. Greer, I developed a category I call “Prime Contactee.” These individuals typically exhibit some of the following traits:
1. They frequently encounter UFO intelligence, often beginning in childhood or adolescence.
-
In their youth, they may develop strong meditation skills, typically without significant adult guidance or supervision.
-
“Primes” possess notable psychic abilities that enhance their contact and communication with UAP intelligences.
- Most importantly, they act as human UFO magnets, able to request UFO encounters in the presence of other witnesses. Subsequent sightings allow these witnesses to validate the “Prime’s” unique relationship with non-human intelligences associated with UFOs.
Throughout my investigations, I noted that the Prime Contactees I encountered were predominantly male, with one possible exception—a volunteer contact worker from the UK, with whom I did fieldwork in the summer of 1997. A link to that detailed report is provided below.
Introduction
In the final week of October 1993, I set out to lead a team of UFO investigators into the high desert. Despite numerous phone calls, I could only secure commitments from two others to join me. For 16 months, I had served as the Working Group Coordinator for CSETI’s CE-5 Initiative, but my original team was beginning to show signs of weariness. We had conducted nearly two dozen research outings, most of which documented anomalous light formations at night. Occasionally, other teams within the CE-5 network reported sightings of structured crafts that were genuine unknowns—in other words, bona fide UFOs made appearances at our research sites.

Thank you for sharing your fascinating account of the CE-5 encounter in Joshua Tree. Your detailed observations and the concept of “Prime Contactees” provide intriguing insights into the dynamics of human-UFO interactions. The characteristics you outline certainly paint a picture of a unique subset of individuals with extraordinary experiences.
The duration of your encounter, along with the verification by another witness, adds a level of credibility to your account that many such narratives lack. It’s interesting that you’ve noted the predominance of male contactees, which raises questions about the possible factors influencing these experiences.
I appreciate the way you reconstructed your conversations with Misha to give a sense of immediacy to your narrative. Personal anecdotes like yours are crucial in expanding our understanding of these phenomena, and your willingness to document and share these experiences can help foster a greater dialogue around UFOs and contact experiences.
I’m looking forward to exploring the full report linked in your post to gain further insight into your methods and findings during those years. Keep up the excellent work in documenting these phenomena!
