Orange Orb UFO

Orange Orb UFO

Hey everyone, I’d like to share an experience that’s been on my mind lately. It all began on the night of June 10, 2019, around 9:30 PM. My friend and I were driving on a back road in my rural community in southern Ontario, and the sky was completely clear—no clouds at all. As I looked out through my windshield, I spotted an orange light in the sky. It looked just like a glowing ball of fire or an ember floating in the air.

Although it wasn’t too far away, it wasn’t right up close either; it just hovered there without moving. For a brief moment, I thought it could be Mars, but I quickly realized it was far too close for that. Just to have a little fun, I decided to flash my high beams in Morse code (though I don’t actually know the code) to whatever I thought could be an aircraft. To my surprise, the orb responded by shooting straight up and vanishing from sight—all of this happening within about 45 seconds.

Fast forward about a month later: my friend and I were driving home from his place, which is located in an even more rural area. The road was pitch dark, without any streetlights, and just like before, the night sky was clear, except for a cluster of clouds. As we drove, I suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of unease. My friend turned to me and mentioned he felt strange too; I replied that I’d felt the same way but didn’t want to say anything.

Then, about 30 seconds after we expressed our discomfort, we noticed something peculiar: orange lightning within one of the clouds. Unlike typical lightning, this didn’t strike the ground; instead, it illuminated only the cloud. We found this bizarre since I had never encountered orange lightning before, knowing that it could appear in shades of red, yellow, or blue. My friend looked it up and discovered it’s an extremely rare phenomenon.

About a minute after spotting the orange lightning, we saw an orange orb much closer than last time. We exchanged glances, acknowledging that it was the same thing we’d seen a month prior, so I pulled over to get a better look. The orb was hovering above a treeline about 400 meters away, approximately a thousand feet in the air. My car had a sunroof, so we stood up to peek out, but just as we did, the orb vanished in an instant.

We scanned the sky for it, but it was gone. Just ten seconds later, a silent aircraft flew overhead. It was a human-made jet, and we could see the purple afterburner as it headed in the direction where we had last seen the orb. At that point, we were sufficiently freaked out, so we sat back down in the car and drove off. I’ve never witnessed anything like that since, but I’m grateful for the experience—it was one of the most intriguing and thought-provoking moments of my life.

If anyone has seen something similar or knows anything about these orange orbs or UFOs, I’d love to hear from you. Thanks!

  1. Wow, that sounds like an incredible experience! Your encounters with the orange orb and the unusual orange lightning are really intriguing. It’s interesting how both you and your friend felt anxious and odd before seeing the orb; it’s almost like you were picking up on something unusual in the environment. The way the orb moved and then vanished sounds like something out of a science fiction movie!

It’s not uncommon for people in rural areas to report seeing strange lights in the sky, especially when the night is clear. The phenomenon of orange lightning is also quite rare—it’s fascinating that you both witnessed it before seeing the orb a second time.

I wonder if there have been similar reports from others in your area around that time? It would be interesting to see if anyone else has made a connection to these orange orbs or seen similar things. Have you looked up any local UFO sightings or reports from that period? It’s always worth sharing experiences like yours as they can help piece together a bigger puzzle. Thanks for sharing your story!
