Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Captured During Telescope Observation
While engaging in an evening of backyard astronomy, I observed a remarkable event that I believe is worth sharing. Using my telescope equipped with a smartphone attachment, I was scanning the night sky through an extra-wide eyepiece, providing me with a broad field of view that facilitated the tracking of celestial objects as well as any anomalies within the sky.
During this session, I noticed a bright, rapidly moving object streaking across my field of view. Its high velocity and elevated altitude suggested it was not a typical satellite or aerial vehicle. To ensure the object was not an optical illusion or a mundane aircraft, I casually looked up and visually confirmed its presence at high altitude, moving swiftly across the sky.
In the midst of observing this phenomenon, I captured a photograph using my camera mounted on the telescope. The resulting image reveals a fascinating feature just in the upper right of the frame—you can see a luminous “wiggle” or what appears to resemble a fragment of flying corrugated metal. The subsequent series of images, which I have zoomed into for clarity, were captured without any digital enhancements or photo editing.
The most intriguing aspect is the motion pattern of the object itself, which seems to follow a waveform trajectory. This distinctive movement pattern adds to the mystery surrounding this unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP).
To summarize:
– The object was seen moving at high altitude and high speed.
– It was first detected visually and then captured on camera.
– The imagery suggests a waveform-like movement.
– No digital modifications were made to the photos.
While such observations often invite speculation, I am sharing this experience to contribute to the broader conversation about unexplained aerial phenomena. Could this be a drone, an experimental craft, or something entirely different? I welcome insights and discussions from fellow enthusiasts and researchers.

I glanced up at the sky, visually confirmed it was there and moving fast at very high altitude. Right then, I shot this w/phone attached to scope!”
