A Personal Encounter with an Unexplained Triangular Object: Reflecting on a 20-Year-Old UFO Sighting

To provide context, let me briefly describe my perspective. I am a man who does not subscribe to religious belief or faith; I see belief as a matter of evidence and fact rather than dogma. I have always approached extraordinary claims with skepticism and a critical eye, yet my personal experience challenged these very principles.

The Event: A Close Encounter

It was a winter afternoon, and I was snowboarding down a small hill. The sun was setting, casting a golden hue over the landscape—an hour known to photographers as the “golden hour” for its optimal lighting conditions. The sky was mostly clear, with only a few distant clouds.

While ascending the hill, I noticed movement out of the corner of my left eye. Turning to look, I was stunned to see a peculiar object hovering approximately 10 to 15 meters above my head. The object was shaped like an equilateral triangle, roughly one to one and a half meters tall—with a size comparable to a small vehicle, about 7 to 8 meters in length.

Description of the Object

The object appeared to be constructed of a material that closely resembled red glass—completely transparent yet not perfectly so. I could see inside its structure, which added to its surreal appearance. At its center floated a dark blue plasma sphere, roughly the size of a basketball, pulsating gently.

Inside the craft, I observed a creature, surprisingly short—no taller than around 1.2 meters—with a slender, emaciated build. Its skin seemed dark, a shade between gray and black. The creature’s comparatively large head and elongated arms gave it an odd, almost robotic or “bot-like” demeanor, especially as it maintained a fixed posture, with arms extended forward as if controlling or manipulating something.
