UAP Sighting in Miami – February 16th at 6:05 PM

Date & Time: February 16, 2025, 6:05 PM
Location: Miami, FL (Wynwood/Edgewater)

I just spotted something unusual from my balcony in Wynwood. At first, I thought it was a falling balloon, but then it began to ascend and move away past buildings that are about 0.75 miles away in under 30 seconds. There’s no noticeable wind today, which is odd. It was much closer before I started recording. The object looked like a 3D oval with an elliptical shape, rotating off-axis and exhibiting a metallic, reflective surface. Its longer edge seemed to stay parallel to the ground as it wobbled, which makes me doubt it was a balloon. The object went out of frame in my video since I wasn’t aiming my iPhone directly at it. It’s hard to estimate its size, and I wouldn’t even want to take a guess.

I’m hoping someone else in the Edgewater area between 26th and 30th Street saw this too…

  1. That sounds like quite an extraordinary sighting! It’s definitely intriguing that it was able to lift and move so quickly without any noticeable wind. I hope others in the Edgewater area chime in with their experiences or if they happened to see the same thing. With the reflective finish and unique shape, it sounds unlike anything typically seen in the sky. Have you considered reaching out on local social media groups or forums to see if anyone captured it on video or has additional information? It would be fascinating to learn more about what others witnessed!
