On a Thursday evening, a group of four hikers embarked on a routine trek through the well-known trails of San Bernardino National Forest. Their journey was focused on reaching Clark’s Summit, a popular destination among outdoor enthusiasts. Equipped with basic gear and a sense of adventure, the group navigated the familiar terrain during daylight hours, enjoying the tranquility of the forest.

The Unusual Off-Trail Experience

As they approached their destination, an odd phenomenon began to unfold. The hikers started veering off the established trail without intending to. One individual in the group remarked aloud about hearing a woman’s voice calling for help, even though her companions did not perceive any sounds. This prompted the group to investigate, drifting approximately 300 to 400 meters away from the trail in a bid to locate the supposed distress call.

Upon closer inspection, what they saw defied explanation: a nearly invisible, transparent figure perched about 50 feet up in the branches—a humanoid form that appeared to ripple like heatwaves on hot pavement. The figure was discernible only because it displaced surrounding foliage, which moved as the creature shifted position.

The observers described the entity as being entirely see-through, yet visible due to the distortion of light and movement around it. Its silent presence, coupled with the sudden halt of all usual forest sounds, contributed to an atmosphere thick with unease.
