I might have seen a UAP but I’m not sure.

I may have had an encounter with a UAP, but I’m uncertain about it.

When I was around 13 or 14, I was fascinated by space, astronomy, and UFOs. Back then, smartphones and camcorders weren’t a thing, making it impossible to capture such an event. Living in a remote area, we often experienced long power outages in the evenings, forcing us to sleep on the terrace.

One night, I noticed three distinct lights high in the sky moving in a straight line, piquing my curiosity. I had seen satellites before, but these lights were exceptionally bright and closely grouped. Suddenly, one of the lights made a smooth right turn — something satellites or airplanes don’t do. Fearful, I rushed inside to get my father, but by the time we returned, the sky had returned to normal.

The next day, I excitedly recounted my experience to friends at school, only to be mocked for it. This made me hesitant to share my story again, though it did deepen my interest in UAPs. I know I might face ridicule for this post too, but that’s alright. What do you think — was what I saw real?

  1. Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s fascinating to hear about personal encounters with unusual phenomena, especially when they spark curiosity about space and the unknown. While your description sounds intriguing, it’s hard to say definitively what you saw without more information. Many people have reported seeing lights in the sky that exhibit unusual behavior, leading to speculation about their nature.

It’s important to remember that unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) can encompass a wide range of possibilities, from atmospheric phenomena to experimental aircraft or even satellites. Your observation of the lights making a turn and their brightness does set it apart from typical satellites or planes, but without recorded evidence, it remains an enigma.

What matters most is how this experience impacted your interest in astronomy and the universe. It’s perfectly okay to share your story, and not everyone will ridicule you. Many enthusiasts and researchers are curious about such accounts as they contribute to the broader conversation about UAPs. Keep exploring your interests, and who knows what other fascinating observations you might make in the future!
