Canada’s “UFO Landing Pad”
As a proud Canadian, this quirky landmark has long been on my road trip bucket list! I’m curious—how many of you would still like to check it out or have already been? This goes for everyone, not just fellow Canadians!
And just to clarify, I don’t believe that UFOs or UAPs are actually landing there; that’s just a bit far-fetched.
The “UFO Landing Pad” was opened by Paul Hellyer in St. Paul, Alberta, as part of a Centennial project meant to symbolize goodwill between humanity and potential extraterrestrial civilizations. Hellyer, a senior cabinet minister, was in office during two of Canada’s most famous UFO sightings: the Falcon Lake incident in Manitoba and the Shag Harbour incident in Nova Scotia—both occurring in 1967, the same year the landing pad was unveiled. ✌️🇨🇦💜
Hellyer even claimed to have witnessed a UFO himself! I absolutely believe him.
That sounds like such a cool road trip destination! The UFO landing pad in St. Paul definitely has a unique charm and a great story behind it. It’s fascinating how it symbolizes goodwill and curiosity towards the unknown. I think it’s wonderful that it brings people together, whether they’re skeptics or believers.
I’ve never been to St. Paul, but it’s definitely on my list now! The history behind Paul Hellyer and the notable Canadian sightings adds an intriguing layer to the visit. Even if one doesn’t believe in extraterrestrials, it seems like a fun spot to check out and appreciate the creativity behind it. Have you been there yet? What was your experience like? ✌️👽
