CE5: An Amateur’s Retrospective

Hello everyone! I’m an amateur CE5 enthusiast sharing my insights and experiences to provide as much information as possible. At the end of this post, I’ve included a guide with helpful resources. Please remember that I’m not a professional or an expert—I’m simply sharing my personal journey with CE5.

I began my CE5 journey on May 4th of last year. Earlier that year, I came across Steven Greer’s documentary, “Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind.” Initially, I was skeptical, but instead of dismissing it, I decided to try it for myself and see if it was genuine.

TL;DR: It is.

To address some common questions upfront:

  1. Do you need Greer’s app to do this?
No, the meditations and audio resources I used can easily be found on YouTube, and I’ll provide links later.

  2. Did you attend any expensive retreats?
No, I conducted my sessions alone in my backyard in rural Arizona, even when Greer wasn’t hosting any retreats. You don’t need to spend a dime.

  3. Is this similar to using a Ouija board? Can you attract unwanted entities?
In my experience, no. A key part of CE5 is setting clear intentions beforehand, which seems to act as a protective filter. My encounters have only occurred during CE5 sessions, and I haven’t experienced any risks related to entities, unlike with channeling or Ouija boards.

  4. Did you purchase the app?
I did buy it initially, thinking it was necessary, but later realized that many of the meditations are available for free on YouTube. You can successfully carry out CE5 without spending any money.

  5. Do you have any video or photo evidence?
Unfortunately, no. My budget smartphone has a poor camera for low-light conditions, and I found that whenever I tried to take a picture, the UFO would vanish!

  6. How effective is CE5?
From my experiences, I’d say it has about an 80-90% success rate. While it’s believed that group sessions (4+ people) are more effective, I haven’t had that opportunity to test it myself.

Now that those questions are out of the way, I’ll share a remarkable experience I had while performing CE5, as well as a dream I had last October, along with a general summary of my CE5 experiences over several months.

Feel free to skip directly to the guide if you’d rather not delve into my experiences, as I understand that it might sound outlandish.

The first waking experience occurred on my fifth day of nightly CE5 sessions. It began like any other session; I found myself deeply relaxed. Suddenly, I heard a high-pitched “zing” in my ear followed by whispers from about 30 feet away, accompanied by the sound of crunching footsteps in the desert brush. I initially dismissed it as my imagination or possibly a small animal, but the sounds grew closer. When it seemed to be about 10 feet away, I opened my eyes, interrupting my meditation.

To my surprise, I spotted an enormous object—around 200+ feet long—hovering in the western sky. It resembled a massive streak of bright white light completely still. I had only 10-30 seconds to observe it before it took off at a 45-degree angle and vanished, leaving behind a bright flash in the same spot moments later.

In the months that followed, most of my other CE5 encounters were with “orbs,” similar to the phenomena reported in New Jersey. You can dismiss my initial experience as a fluke if that’s your inclination.

The Dream: One night, I went to bed around 7 PM while my roommate gamed on my computer. I vividly remember “

  1. Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience and insights on CE5. It’s fascinating to hear about your journey and the detailed accounts of your encounters. I appreciate your openness in providing a guide and answering potential questions, as it makes it accessible for others who might be curious about trying it out themselves.

Your description of the various experiences, from the bright object in the sky to the intriguing dream interaction, definitely sparks curiosity. I think it’s great that you encourage others to explore this on their own terms, without feeling pressured to spend money on apps or retreats.

I’m especially interested in your point about setting intentions being a kind of filter for the experience. That’s a conscious way to approach this that resonates with many spiritual practices.

The resources you’ve shared will definitely be helpful for anyone looking to get started, and I appreciate the candidness about the optional tools; it makes it feel more approachable and less intimidating for newcomers.

Overall, thank you for taking the time to share not just your experiences but also a method for others to follow. It’s always enlightening to encounter people who are open-minded and willing to explore the unknown. Wishing you continued success on your CE5 journey! Happy hunting!
