A few days ago, I had something similar happen and wrote it all out, but I second-guessed myself and deleted it. Fortunately, I took a screenshot of the original post, so I\u2019ll share that too.  <\/p>\n<p>Lately, I\u2019ve been heading to a spot near Moana Point to stargaze, watching satellites and distant planes. Occasionally, I spot something strange\u2014perhaps my imagination running wild! Tonight was relatively calm, so I returned home, where I stood on my deck gazing at the sky. Suddenly, I spotted two lights appear from the left. After a few minutes, one of the lights vanished as if someone had flipped a switch. Then, the other light grew incredibly bright and abruptly dove downward.  <\/p>\n<p>Normally, I might brush this off, but with my previous experience and everything happening recently, I\u2019m curious if anyone else in Wellington or anywhere else in New Zealand has seen something similar?  <\/p>\n<p>I also attempted to record a video, but due to light pollution, I couldn\u2019t capture anything.
