July 4th, 2020 – NYC<\/strong>

I’ve had this video tucked away for years, but I’m finally ready to share it for an open discussion about what we might be looking at. A little background: my mom isn’t the most tech-savvy, and she was pretty freaked out while recording, which is why the footage is a bit shaky and the focus isn’t great. Also, there’s no audio since she screen-recorded instead of just sending the video. Classic, right? <\/p>\n

So, back in 2020, she was trying to capture the fireworks for my little brother. While recording, she suddenly noticed a bright light in the sky that she initially thought was a helicopter or drone. Oddly, it was completely silent except for a faint buzzing sound. I remember this well because I was in my room with my cousin (enjoying some questionable choices), and we both heard the buzzing for about five minutes before it just stopped. I even checked my speaker and laptop to see if the sound was coming from there, but it was only when I put my head out the window that I heard it clearly. <\/p>\n

My mom was supposedly calling me to come look at it, but I never heard her at all. Anyway, I think the footage will let you draw your own conclusions. I\u2019m still puzzled about what it was\u2014it could have been one of those drones with lights to indicate its presence, but it moved so quickly and vanished into the clouds. <\/p>\n
