It gives the impression that these cases arise in waves, peaking at convenient times, and then just as quickly fade away without much attention or follow-up. It\u2019s like we went from hearing \u201cNow it\u2019s impossible for everything to stay hidden\u201d to \u201cWhen Trump gets in, we\u2019ll finally know everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the end, we\u2019re back to knowing the same things we did a century ago\u2014maybe even less. It might be more rewarding to revisit the discussions from that time, as they could be more enlightening than what’s currently being talked about, especially with figures like Jacques de Vall\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
