Using tools like Stellarium, NASA’s JPL Ephemeris, and other software, we determined the precise date when Regulus aligns with the gaze of the Sphinx by considering various geographical factors such as latitude, longitude, and altitude. Here\u2019s a scientific perspective on the matter:<\/p>\n

Regulus, situated in the constellation Leo, aligns at specific points in time based on the Earth’s axial tilt and precession. The alignment occurs when the star’s declination coincides with the horizontal plane of the Sphinx at Giza’s coordinates. <\/p>\n

Through detailed mathematical modeling, we found that the alignment of Regulus with the Sphinx’s gaze in 2026 is not on Easter, but rather on August 29, 2026. This analysis takes into account Giza’s latitude (29.9792\u00b0 N) and considers long-term stellar drift. Consequently, it appears that Chris Bledsoe’s prediction of this event may rely more on symbolic or approximate timing rather than exact astronomical alignment.<\/p>\n
