Time:<\/strong> Approximately 11:30 PM, 2020 (during COVID)<\/p>\n Location:<\/strong> Ballyclare, Northern Ireland<\/p>\n During the lockdown, my friend and I were working late-night shifts delivering Domino\u2019s pizza to make some extra money while our regular jobs were on hold. With only essential workers permitted to be out, delivery drivers were classified as such.<\/p>\n One evening, after finishing our shift\u2014probably around 11:30 PM\u2014my friend and I decided to step outside for a smoke (just tobacco, by the way!) near the outskirts of the small town. We parked next to what I believe was a walking trail, with each of our cars tucked into a little side entrance that I think led to a school. To clarify, this isn’t my hometown, so details might be a bit fuzzy.<\/p>\n While we were chatting, I was facing him, and he suddenly exclaimed, \u201cHoly f**k, what is that massive light behind you?\u201d Instantly, I turned around, and while I didn\u2019t see a light, I noticed a gigantic disc hovering just over the horizon behind the park. I asked him what light he saw, and he described a large beam shining down to the ground before I turned. <\/p>\n We both stood in awe, staring at the disc. I can\u2019t accurately gauge its size\u2014maybe 200 feet across if it was close, but it could have been larger at a distance. I based that on my neighbor\u2019s chicken shed, which is about 200 feet and roughly 400 meters away.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s where it gets strange: this disc wasn\u2019t flying horizontally like many others I\u2019ve seen in photos. Instead, it was angled, allowing us to view the entire underside. The bottom had alternating green and red lights around its edge, and while it appeared metallic, it wasn\u2019t shiny\u2014perhaps due to the lack of strong light at night. As the disc tilted to face us, it began a slow rotation while moving to the right. We could still see it despite a row of small trees near the road; they were sparse enough that we could duck down to get a better view.<\/p>\n In disbelief, we rushed up the road, trying to absorb every moment. Suddenly, it zoomed away at tremendous speed, completely silent; the only sound was the rustling leaves in the breeze.<\/p>\n I never dismissed the possibility of other intelligent life in the universe, but I never imagined witnessing something like this firsthand. It was an incredible moment filled with excitement and joy rather than fear.<\/p>\n I know some will question the lack of evidence, but everything transpired in what felt like 15-20 seconds. We didn\u2019t have our phones out, and even if we did, I doubt I could have thought to record it in such a mesmerizing moment.<\/p>\n I\u2019m sharing this experience because I\u2019ve only told my family, and I\u2019ve been on a quest to understand what we saw.
