UAP Encounter in Connemara, Galway<\/strong>

I experienced a UAP encounter in Connemara, Galway, nearly three years ago, and it has lingered in my mind ever since. I find myself reflecting on it daily and feel compelled to share my story beyond just my close friends.<\/p>\n

It was late March when I visited family in Connemara from Cork. Around 1 AM, just before hitting the sack, I stepped outside to admire the night sky. Coming from Cork, where light pollution dims the stars, I was eager to take in the pristine view. The sky was brilliantly clear, and an unusual silence enveloped everything.<\/p>\n

As I scanned the horizon, I spotted a red \u2018star\u2019 to the south. Curiosity piqued, I fetched my 400mm Sony mirrorless camera, set it up on a tripod, and zoomed in. Initially, I assumed it was just another star\u2014nothing remarkable. However, just as I was about to call it a night, something caught my eye in my peripheral vision.<\/p>\n

To my right, a sizable craft glided silently across the sky. It was adorned with rotating blue lights beneath, revealing a saucer-like shape. The top of the craft was shrouded in darkness. I was completely astounded\u2014it was truly unsettling. My first instinct was to rationalize it as the ISS, which now seems utterly baffling. I\u2019ve spotted the ISS countless times, and it always appears as a simple white dot moving across the sky. This, however, was different\u2014a tangible craft with distinct features right before me.<\/p>\n

Strangely, instead of staying to observe or photograph it, I hurriedly packed up my camera and went to bed while the object was still above. The next morning, I was taken aback by my own reaction. As someone fascinated by this phenomenon, it felt illogical to walk away, especially with my camera ready. It was as if some external force compelled me to go to bed, preventing me from capturing the moment.<\/p>\n

In the nights that followed, and indeed for weeks during my stay, I set up my camera on a tripod for a timelapse, hoping to catch a glimpse of it again\u2014but sadly, I had no luck.<\/p>\n
