What are the chances that extraterrestrial life forms capable of interstellar travel, advanced drones, and gravitational propulsion\u2014essentially bending the laws of physics as we understand them\u2014also haven’t mastered invisibility?<\/p>\n
For the record, I strongly believe that aliens exist. The Drake equation makes sense to me: our observable universe contains billions of galaxies and stars, with countless planets among them. A certain number of those planets lie in the “Goldilocks zone,” where conditions could potentially support life, carbon-based or otherwise. On some of these planets, it seems likely that abiogenesis, or something similar, has occurred, evolving from simple protein structures to single-celled organisms, then to multi-celled and eventually more complex forms of life.<\/p>\n
Given enough time\u2014millions or even billions of years\u2014it’s reasonable to consider that advanced life forms vastly beyond our own could exist and be out there exploring the universe. Honestly, the odds of Earth being the only planet with life seem incredibly slim.<\/p>\n
That being said, can anyone really believe that beings sophisticated enough to travel across the cosmos for enjoyment would also lack the ability to conceal their ships or drones from our limited perception? If they\u2019re trying to remain hidden, why not use invisibility? And if they aren\u2019t concerned about secrecy, what\u2019s stopping them from showing themselves?<\/p>\n
