I recently attended a talk by Elizondo, and I wanted to share my impressions. <\/p>\n
One major takeaway: as someone in my mid-30s, I was surprised by how many gray-haired individuals filled the front rows of the audience. I had invested quite a bit, essentially purchasing a whole table to be front and center, yet I felt like I was among people who might be closer to a nursing home than to the topic of disclosure.<\/p>\n
I hold no judgment against those with gray hair; it’s just not what I anticipated. I couldn’t help but wonder if many of them were investors, affluent individuals, or long-time enthusiasts with personal stories or experiences related to the phenomenon.<\/p>\n
It was a thought-provoking realization that the audience may not be primarily in the 20-55 age range.<\/p>\n
I’ve been following this topic for quite some time and have seen Lue on virtually every podcast, TV show, or documentary you can think of. During the Q&A session, a few audience members posed insightful questions, but Lue often redirected his answers, repeating information he had shared previously. At one point, I shared a knowing glance with the person next to me, and we ended up sharing a good laugh over it.<\/p>\n
After the talk, Lue took the time to meet with everyone in the audience, which I thought was fantastic. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my book for him to sign, but I did manage to snap a few photos and even got a hug from him. He struck me as genuinely sincere. I was a bit surprised that he didn’t have copies of his book for sale or charge for photos or autographs, which I think speaks volumes about his intentions.<\/p>\n
As for his presentation, it was more of a UAP 101, which wasn’t necessarily aimed at those of us with more experience in the field. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my evening out downtown, savored some good food at the venue, and had the chance to meet him! A big thank you to the City Winery staff for hosting such a well-organized event and providing excellent service!<\/p>\n
