For starters, he has lied about his military service, and that can be confirmed. His DD-214 clearly states his role: Special Warfare Airmen do not have cover AFSCs listed on their documents. It explicitly says Combat Controller.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Barber has claimed extensive combat experience in both Bosnia and Iraq. While I wasn\u2019t in the service during Bosnia, I joined after 9\/11 and can confirm that his accounts of combat in Iraq aren\u2019t accurate. During that time, NATO was simply enforcing a no-fly zone, with only a few air-to-air engagements and no significant ground combat.<\/p>\n
I’m curious why no one from the combat control community has come forward to support Barber\u2019s claims. Where are his former teammates? You\u2019d expect someone to recall a shared experience, like a funny story about his snoring during their time together in Bosnia, but there’s nothing. He has been “vouched for” by other individuals claiming to be ex-special ops, but none seem to have served with him in more mundane situations.<\/p>\n
Finally, Barber’s assertion that he helped liberate Kuwait in 1994 raises questions. While we could debate the exact timing of that liberation, military campaigns have defined start and end dates. For someone on active duty to assert participation in the liberation of Kuwait without reference to the Desert Storm\/Shield era would typically be seen as deceitful.<\/p>\n
To be fair, I\u2019m only stating that his military service claims are demonstrably untrue. He might very well be honest about other things. I\u2019m open to the idea that UAP phenomena could be more complex than we believe. Ultimately, everything ties back to consciousness.
