Although these sightings peak in the summer months, they have been documented throughout the year.<\/p>\n I’ve put together a stitched video showcasing these sightings in Gordons Bay, along with a clip from a different province in South Africa. One particularly intriguing witness claims these orbs can be spotted between 8 PM and 2 AM. Other locations that have experienced similar sightings include Fishoek, Kommetjie, Somerset West, and Mitchells Plain.<\/p>\n Typically, these orbs appear to emerge from the ocean, but there have been instances where they’ve been seen over inland areas. Observers have noted that they often gather around the Steenbras Dam, a local hydroelectric facility. It’s unusual, but they tend to appear in groups rather than alone, with some orbs seemingly materializing right next to each other.<\/p>\n I’ve slowed down some of the footage, and I genuinely find the behavior of these orbs baffling.
