My Investigation into the Location of a 1951 UFO Photo in Peru<\/h3>\n

On July 19, 1951, an intriguing photograph was taken in Puerto Maldonado, Peru, allegedly showing a UFO. Curious about the precise location where Domingo Troncoso captured this image, I sought to identify a nearby landmark that could help determine the dimensions of the mysterious object. <\/p>\n

I believe the photo was taken close to what is now known as the Billinghurst Bridge in Puerto Maldonado:<\/p>\n

To support my hypothesis, I’ve created several landscape comparisons:

In addition to the visual similarities between the two panoramas, the newspaper from the time described the direction the object flew, which was from south to north. This aligns with the photo’s depiction of the object moving from right to left.<\/p>\n

Along with the aforementioned photo, we have received a copy of the radiotelegraphic dispatch sent from the Iberia hacienda to Lima by the internal service of the Peruvian Amazon Corporation.<\/em><\/p>\n

At 4:50 PM on July 19, a luminous disk crossed the sky of Iberia (department of Madre de Dios), featuring an intense electric blue nucleus and a luminous trail that transitioned from yellow to a bright orange. It was visible for one to two minutes, leaving a thick vaporous trail that lingered for over 15 minutes.<\/em><\/p>\n

The altitude was approximately 2,500 to 3,000 feet, all under bright sunlight.<\/em><\/p>\n

During its flight, the radio service at the Peruvian Amazon Corporation collapsed, failing to transmit or receive any signals.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our informant added that the disk was observed in Maldonado at 4:55 PM that same day.<\/em><\/p>\n

Given that the distance between Iberia and Maldonado is eighty miles, the disk traveled this distance in five minutes\u2014far quicker than a conventional aircraft, which would normally take fifty minutes.<\/em><\/p>\n
