My Childhood UFO Sighting: Has Anyone Else Experienced This?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m sharing this for the first time, and I’m curious if anyone can relate or provide a rational explanation. I\u2019m now 32, but this event occurred when I was just 9 years old, just before my 10th birthday. Despite countless reports and stories I’ve encountered, nothing aligns with what I witnessed that night. <\/p>\n

The Sighting:<\/strong><\/p>\n

While I don’t recall the specific date, I vividly remember it being winter, as it was freezing and completely dark outside. I was with my best friend Martyn and his dad. Although I\u2019m not particularly religious, Martyn’s family was, and we would attend a weekly Christian gathering where we played games, mostly just for fun. The meetings would wrap up around 8:30 PM, after which Martyn’s dad would walk us home\u2014first to my place before they continued another ten minutes to theirs.<\/p>\n

To get to my house, we walked down a pavement we called “the flags,” lined with houses and trees. At the end of the path was another street, allowing us a glimpse of the sky as the roofs of the houses framed our view. As we were walking, I glanced slightly to my left, and out of nowhere, a perfectly round, pulsating green object floated silently overhead. It drifted from across the roofs, passing directly above us and moving off into the distance. The object was surrounded by a kind of haze that resembled a glowing green cloud, yet it didn\u2019t quite look like one. I still remember Martyn\u2019s dad jokingly saying something like, “They’re coming,” as we stood there in awe watching it glide by. It was low enough that we could see it clearly, but unfortunately, I didn\u2019t have a camera phone back then, and the whole encounter lasted only about 5 or 6 seconds.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m left wondering: does this sound familiar to anyone? Or can anyone offer an explanation for what I might have seen? I still can\u2019t find a logical answer for this puzzling experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
