Military Shoots Down Orb in the 1960s<\/p>\n

In her March 18 blog post, Pippa shared her father’s incredible account: “The X-rays brought it down. The US Navy recovered the orb from the ocean.”<\/p>\n

This incident wasn’t unique; other sightings of orbs pursuing US missiles had been reported, as Harald noted. <\/p>\n

“We referred to them as ‘tagalongs,'” he explained in the blog post. “We once knocked a ‘tagalong’ out of the sky.”<\/p>\n
