I’ve Spent Too Much Time in UFO Subs…<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve spent so much time exploring UFO communities that I forgot there are still plenty of “normies” out there who view us as a joke.<\/p>\n
Recently, I made a now-deleted post in a non-UFO subreddit sharing links to clips from David Grusch’s testimony and insights from other whistleblowers. I thought this subreddit was home to intelligent, open-minded individuals and genuinely sought their thoughts on the “UFO question.”<\/p>\n
Instead, I was met with mockery and ridicule, even from people I once respected. I’d estimate that around 99.9% of the respondents didn’t even take the time to watch the clips I shared but jumped straight to insults.<\/p>\n
No one bothered to provide a rational explanation for why several former and current government officials have come forward claiming that non-human intelligence is real and that the government is covering it up. I was merely derided, told that I was no different from a tinfoil hat-wearing conspiracy theorist or a Q-Anon supporter.<\/p>\n
In UFO\/UAP communities, there\u2019s at least a general consensus that SOMETHING unusual is happening. We may disagree on specifics, like the nuts-and-bolts versus the more esoteric aspects, or whether certain prominent whistleblowers are credible or simply seeking attention.<\/p>\n
It seems that despite the slow revelation of information regarding UFOs, there are still many people out there who aren\u2019t on board and see us as na\u00efve. Just mentioning UFOs can provoke responses as hostile as discussing divisive political or religious topics.<\/p>\n
