Curious About a Large Disc in the Night Sky<\/strong><\/p>\n

Date:<\/strong> 2020, during COVID-19
\nTime:<\/strong> Approximately 11:30 PM
\nLocation:<\/strong> Ballyclare, Northern Ireland <\/p>\n

During the COVID lockdown, a friend and I were delivering for Domino’s to make some extra cash since our regular jobs were on hold. One night after our shift, around 11:30 PM, we decided to take a break and step out for a smoke (just tobacco, to clarify\u2014no substances involved) on the outskirts of the small town.<\/p>\n

We parked near what appeared to be a walking trail, backing our cars into a little side entrance that I think was part of a school (the exact location is a bit fuzzy since this isn\u2019t my hometown). As we stood outside, chatting, my friend suddenly exclaimed, \u201cHoly f***, what is that huge light behind you?\u201d I turned around immediately and saw, not a light, but a massive disc hovering just above the horizon behind the park area.<\/p>\n

I couldn’t accurately gauge its size, but it could have been around 200 feet across if it was close, or potentially larger if it was further away. For reference, I have a neighbor with a 200ft chicken shed that I know the distance to.<\/p>\n

What struck me was how this disc didn’t move horizontally like typical sightings I’ve seen in photos. Instead, it was tilted, allowing us to see its entire underside, which had alternating green and red lights along the edges. The surface appeared metallic but not shiny\u2014possibly due to the nighttime darkness. After tilting toward us, the disc began to slowly rotate while moving to the right. We were standing by a sparse line of tall trees that allowed us to see through if we bent down a bit. <\/p>\n

As the disc rotated and moved, we found ourselves running up the road, trying to absorb every moment of this incredible sight. Suddenly, it took off at incredible speed, vanishing from view without a sound, while we could still hear the leaves rustling in the light wind.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always kept an open mind about the possibility of intelligent life beyond Earth but never expected to witness something like this. Instead of fear, we felt sheer excitement and awe.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m aware that some may question the lack of proof\u2014after all, this all unfolded in roughly 15-20 seconds. We didn\u2019t have our phones at the ready, and even if we had, I doubt we could\u2019ve captured the moment\u2014 it was simply too mesmerizing.<\/p>\n

I’m sharing this because I\u2019ve only told my family about it and have been on a quest to understand what we saw. Has anyone else encountered a disc-like object flying on its side rather than horizontally?<\/p>\n
