In the western sky, to the right of what I believe was Venus or Jupiter (not entirely sure), I noticed a sequence of lights\u2014sometimes three or four\u2014appearing around 8 PM. Tonight, I spotted five lights and was determined to document them, so I pulled over and turned off my headlights. To my surprise, there were actually twelve lights lined up! There may have been more, but as I tried to take a photo, they began to blink out one by one. I was so shaken that the photo turned out poorly. This has been happening nearly every night since fall.
