As I sat in my truck, lost in an ADHD haze, a loud sound of a plane engine suddenly pierced the silence, seemingly coming from right above me. Typically, the sound of an aircraft increases gradually as it approaches, but this noise felt different—like the plane had muted its engine until it was overhead, then turned it on all at once.

I looked up and was shocked to see an aircraft flying lower than I’ve ever seen in my 19 years living in this town. It was so low that I could have easily read any markings on the underside of its wings without my glasses. The lights on this craft were unusually bright—two bright green lights on each wing and two white lights in the center, all aligned parallel to each other. It was traveling from south to north, whereas our airport lies directly to the west. This was not recognizable as a commercial airplane or any other type of aircraft I’ve encountered before; it was roughly the size of a bus.

While it might sound like a standard aircraft, the abruptness of its noise and its low altitude, combined with the steady non-flashing lights, prompted me to share my experience here. If you’ve seen the footage taken by a woman in New Jersey of a UAP while walking around a football field, the object I witnessed bore a striking resemblance to hers. Unfortunately, my phone was dead, and I didn’t realize what was happening until the noise erupted above me, leaving no time to capture it on video. With dense trees in Mississippi, I could only clearly observe the object for about ten seconds.

Afterward, I moved to my parents’ backyard to see if anything else was happening in the sky. Initially, I saw nothing but heard the sound of another plane flying overhead, although I couldn’t catch sight of it for about five minutes. Then, just as suddenly, the noise stopped.

As I searched for the source of the sounds, I spotted another object—this one appeared to be much higher in altitude, where I usually see planes fly. Although it looked normal, I kept watching it and noticed it didn’t make any noise, which was odd compared to the first object. Unlike the first craft, this second plane had flashing red and white lights in a standard pattern. However, soon the flashing became erratic and unpredictable.

To explain the erratic pattern:
– It started with one red flash followed by one white.
– Then it became three white flashes, one red, four white, three red, and so on, with no discernible sequence like typical aircraft.

This second craft was moving from northwest to southeast.

What happened next was something I hesitated to share due to its bizarre nature. A small white dot, moving at the speed of a shooting star, collided with the second plane, creating a flash that reflected off the clouds. This third object was coming from north to south and struck the second plane; remarkably, the plane showed no reaction and continued on its course.

I couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed. Initially, I thought it might have been a shooting star, but it came from below the cloud line, making that unlikely. Plus, the light pollution here makes spotting shooting stars quite challenging.

I’ve spent significant time observing the night sky since all the reports began in December but hadn’t seen anything—leading me to think all the recent sightings in the northeast US were just a mix of excitement and misidentifications. Many videos show objects that resemble planes, yet countless people are sensing something unusual about them, which is hard to describe unless you’ve seen it in person. The first object I saw matched those descriptions of aircraft that seem off—with its low flight, strange noise, and distinct lights. As for the second “plane,” I’m left confused about what I witnessed.

Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any insights into what I observed?

UAP Encounter in Mississippi I had just finished dinner at my parents’ house and got into my truck to head back to my apartment.
