Key UAP Updates from February 17-23, 2025<\/h3>\n

This Week in Disclosure:<\/h4>\n

February 17<\/strong> \u2013 The Skywatcher organization commits to increasing public access to UAP data.<\/p>\n

The Skywatcher group, founded by UAP Crash Retrieval Whistleblower Jake Barber, announced their plan to concentrate on providing the data everyone is looking for in a post on X<\/a>. In the next 4-6 weeks, they will share:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A video interview with a detailed analysis of new UAP data, featuring multiple videos captured by the Skywatcher team, along with insights into their data collection and analysis approach. Importantly, this will go beyond just cell phone footage. <\/li>\n
  2. A proposed framework called \u201cStages of Disclosure,\u201d developed by their advisory team, which will help track and evaluate progress based on current and future data releases. <\/li>\n
  3. An independent assessment of the complete dataset by a qualified third-party organization. They are actively seeking collaborations\u2014please DM them with any leads.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Additionally, Matthew Pines has joined<\/a> as an independent advisor, bringing valuable perspectives that he has previously shared on the DD website. This collaboration is anticipated to yield significant developments in the weeks ahead.<\/p>\n

    February 21<\/strong> \u2013 FOIA releases highlight AARO’s historical lack of transparency.<\/p>\n

    A 2023 FOIA request from John Greenewald<\/a> sought all UAP reports issued by AARO. The DoD’s response stated that all reports had been published, closing the request. However, only 5 reports can be found on the AARO website, leading Greenewald to conclude:<\/p>\n

    “Either 1) AARO has only produced 5 reports since its inception, or 2) they’re withholding many reports from public access.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    February 21<\/strong> \u2013 Rep. Comer suggests USG historical opacity regarding UAPs.<\/p>\n

    In support of the newly established Declassification and Transparency Task Force, Rep. Comer (Chairman of the Oversight Committee) expressed concerns that the government may not be fully transparent about UAPs:<\/p>\n

    \u201cI don’t think the Government has been 100% honest with the American people about what may or may not exist out there, particularly regarding Area 51.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    February 22<\/strong> \u2013 Pentagon confirms investigation into Jake Barber’s UAP allegations.<\/p>\n

    In a discussion with Liberation Times, DoD spokesperson Susan Gough confirmed that:<\/p>\n

    \u201cAARO is aware of Barber’s claims and is conducting an investigation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Barber substantiated this during an interview with Jesse Michels<\/a>, stating:<\/p>\n

    \u201cWe’re showcasing our findings for the new AARO director. They have full access to our work, including our videos and reports.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    February 23<\/strong> \u2013 Sen. Rounds aims to reintroduce the UAP Disclosure Act.<\/p>\n

    In comments made to Askapol<\/a>, Sen. Rounds indicated plans to bring the UAP Disclosure Act back for consideration once legislative focus shifts:<\/p>\n

    Askapol:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u201cYou anticipate the UAPDA will resurface once the NDAA discussions resume?\u201d<\/em>
    \nSen. Rounds:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u201cYes\u2026 at least that’s my intention.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    February\/March<\/strong><\/p>\n
