I’ve been trying to log and track the various assertions people are making on my site, and I’ve hit a major roadblock: there\u2019s no effective way to track them.<\/p>\n
Many assertions can’t be resolved without full disclosure and, as a result, they often lack substance. A lot of them are vague or open-ended, allowing for easy amendments if deadlines expire. Some claims are said to have supporting evidence that remains undisclosed or couldn\u2019t be obtained for various reasons. What we’re left with is a cycle of disputes between prominent figures, like “Aliens are hostile!” versus “No, they aren’t!” or debates on whether a staged alien invasion could happen.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a lot of pseudo-academic discourse happening here, which I find troubling. Regardless of your stance on the reality of these phenomena, can we all agree that much of this conversation doesn’t resemble true journalism or genuine academic inquiry?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
