UFO Sighting in Hoover, AL

Yesterday, around 4:45 PM on Sunday, February 23rd, while out with my kids on John Hawkins Parkway near Lake Crest Animal Clinic, we noticed someone gazing up at the sky. My son and I followed suit and spotted numerous black dots flying above us. I decided to pull over and take some photos of the event. <\/p>\n
The cloud cover was quite high, and the objects appeared to be large. One by one, they seemed to vanish above the clouds. I would estimate their altitude to be around a couple of thousand feet, and since I\u2019m familiar with the area near Bessemer Airport, I have a good idea of what planes look like at various heights. A military friend suggested they might be drones equipped with safety cages, but I can’t help but wonder why there were so many of them. In my initial (and not-so-great) picture, I could count 17 dots. The entire occurrence lasted for about three minutes.
