Some suggested that what I was seeing could be Starlink satellites. I considered that possibility until just now when I spotted one shining brighter than anything else in the sky, even through a thick cloud. Take a look at how it reflects off the sea while nestled deep within the cloud. From where I\u2019m standing, it really seems almost right next to me\u2014on my side of the cloud.
