Initially, I thought it was another aircraft. By the time we approached Chicago, the light had shifted to our 11 o\u2019clock and was positioned quite high. That&#8217;s when I recorded the first video, which also shows my altitude and location. I tracked the object for around 45 minutes to an hour, following its path from our 9 o&#8217;clock to 4 o&#8217;clock.<\/p>\n<p>If I had to estimate, it seemed to be cruising at an altitude of 50,000 to 60,000 feet and was moving rapidly, reportedly crossing the Great Lakes within minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The object appeared to have two white lights, one of which was pulsating, and its lighting didn\u2019t resemble that of typical aircraft, even when viewed through my binoculars.<\/p>\n<p>Importantly, we could not identify it on TCAS, and ATC didn\u2019t register anything unusual either.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m curious: what could this have been?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\nWhat Did I Spot Over Lake Michigan?
