I was browsing through some documentaries on YouTube tonight and couldn\u2019t help but notice a significant rise in AI-generated content. It\u2019s disheartening and frankly, quite disappointing!<\/p>\n
Having a bit of experience in editing, I stumbled upon one particular documentary that felt more like a lecture than anything else. It was so obvious that I couldn\u2019t help but laugh out loud.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not in the industry, but is this becoming standard practice now? Picture over 90 minutes filled with an AI voice, AI-written script, AI-generated images, and videos edited with stock footage all created by AI. <\/p>\n
It seemed like the AI took the script and matched it with stock footage that mirrored the exact phrases. For instance, at one point, it mentioned something about being \u201ctouching on a human level,\u201d and right on cue, it cut to footage of a person touching the screen followed by someone smiling!<\/p>\n
All the stock footage was generic, complete with chroma keying that inserted alien \u201celements.\u201d There was even a segment about a protest for disclosure where every sign had \u201cdisclosure\u201d misspelled, with words randomly fluctuating. <\/p>\n
\u201cDiscloises\u201d? Is that even a word? Maybe it\u2019s a foreign term or something!<\/p>\n
The funniest part? By the third act, the documentary relied on a bunch of AI-generated images, almost like the program ran out of funding and could only scrape together some pictures.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve never encountered anything like this before. It’s astonishing that YouTube doesn\u2019t have filters to weed out this kind of content. Why would they? It\u2019s a real blow to genuine filmmakers, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
Sure, there have always been fake UFO videos and photos, but now we\u2019ve reached the point where they’re creating entire fake UFO documentaries!<\/p>\n
