I\u2019m sharing this because I think the community might not be aware of the incredible initiative underway to preserve UFO history in an unprecedented way.<\/p>\n<p>The National UFO Historical Records Center (NUFOHRC) has recently partnered with a New Mexico school to store over 100,000 civilian and military case files, declassified government documents, and original UFO research. This is more than just a museum or a tourist attraction\u2014it&#8217;s a genuine effort in historical preservation within an educational environment.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the exciting activities they\u2019re undertaking:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digitizing all materials to make them freely accessible online<\/li>\n<li>Utilizing AI to identify patterns from decades of sightings<\/li>\n<li>Archiving the long-lost APRO files that had been sealed away for 35 years<\/li>\n<li>Storing original documents from NICAP, CUFOS, and J. Allen Hynek<\/li>\n<li>Offering engaging historical lectures to students on the topic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>David Marler, the director, has been curating this collection since 1990, and this collaboration allows for greater accessibility than ever before.
